Marchmuseum Rempen – Regional Museum of Customs by Lake Zurich
The charming March region is located between the upper part of Lake Zurich and the Glarner Alps. The museum brings you closer to customary traditions.
The museum provides a folkloristic, historical, economic, cultural and geographical introduction to the March countryside.
In a permanent exhibition, archaeological treasures are displayed which were unearthed during excavations. In addition, old costumes, craft tools and a comprehensive collection of carnival masks offer insight into the daily life and customs of past generations. Sacred art, prints and paintings are also part of the exhibition.
Guided tours are available on appointment outside of opening times.
