"Taste The Waste" Cooking Course
Avoid food waste and try out new recipes: on this cooking course, amateur cooks learn to cook creatively using leftovers and food waste.
We are all regularly confronted with the question: Is this food still edible or does it belong in the garbage? Whether a yogurt that is past its eat-by date or shriveled-up vegetables – with a little creativity, it is possible to conjure up surprisingly tasty meals using leftovers and unwanted products. The particular challenge here is that the ingredients are always different.
One-third of all food produced in Switzerland goes to waste. This cooking course aims to prevent this by providing suitable recipes and suggestions.
The professional kitchen is located in a former bakery in the Zürich Binz quarter and can also be rented for private events.
