Live on Ice
Zurich’s most romantic ice skating rink is located in the grounds of the Romantik Seehotel Sonne on the shores of Lake Zurich.
With a beautiful view over Lake Zurich and surrounded by hundreds of tiny lights, the much loved Live on Ice will be held once again in 2023. The outdoor ice rink at the Romantik Seehotel Sonne in Küsnacht attracts crowds from near and far. It allows guests to briefly escape their everyday lives and immerse themselves in a magical dream world.
On Wednesday and Saturday, those who work up an appetite while gliding around the ice can enjoy an open-air fondue wrapped up in cozy lambskin blankets or warm up with a glass of fragrant mulled wine.
On some Wednesday evenings, a 30-minute ice skating show takes place from 7.30 pm.
