The Waldkantine is located directly opposite Stettbach Station, just 10 minutes from Zurich Main Station. The name – which translates as forest canteen – could hardly be more fitting, for guests feel as if they are in the middle of the forest. The comfortably furnished locale is the perfect place to relax and chill out.
The menu features both hot and cold dishes, starting with the Pulled Pork Burger and ending with the “Förschter Plättli” (forester’s platter). In addition, there is a lavish brunch buffet once a month; the relevant dates are listed on the website. Good to know: the Waldkantine has a cashless policy – cash is not accepted.
