Tradition meets innovation at this small gelateria ‒ and on doing so delights the palates of an entire urban district.
In the 1980s, Heinz Entzeroth sold his first ice creams by bicycle; today, he runs a small business with its own production facility and several employees in downtown Zurich. The enterprise includes a small ice cream parlor near the Opera House and Lake Zurich.
The store, with its yellow & white color scheme and small terrace, melts the hearts of ice cream lovers. As well as an ice cream counter selling the highly popular sorbetti, with such flavors as strawberry, ginger & lime, or sour cherry, and ice cream in a tub or cornet to eat right way, including mocha, sour cream, or stracciatella, customers can also find packs of ice cream in larger containers that they can take home and devour later as a mouthwatering dessert.
If Neptunstrasse is too far to go, the popular Sorbetto ice cream flavors can also be found in many Zurich stores and restaurants, including Globus, Sphères, or NONAM.
