Bergrestaurant Farneralp
The Farneralp is situated at 1,145 meters (3,757ft) above sea level, just up from the high-altitude rehabilitation center, Zürcher RehaZentrum Wald. Guests can reach the mountain restaurant after an approximately 30-minute walk along the car-free road.
In traffic-free surroundings, visitors can enjoy the tranquility of nature and traditional, hearty fare. From the vantage point high above the blanket of fog, there is a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Zurich, the Linth region, and the Alpstein mountain range.
A children’s playground in summer and a toboggan run in winter guarantee plenty of fun for all the family.
