Rapperswil-Jona Cultural Stations – A Tour of a Shared History
Numerous cultural stations now connect the once separate communities of Rapperswil and Jona.
The communities of Rapperswil and Jona, which joined together to form a town in 2007, run the cultural stations project. With 36 cultural posts distributed across the town, together they form an open-air museum that depicts the 3500-year-old story of the two communities.
Every component highlights the significance of the buildings, squares, landscapes and much more. During a walk from station to station, you can really feel the shared culture and development of these once separate communities.
