Open House! On Saturday, December 13, Werkstadt Zurich is hosting its first Festive Factory Saturday from 11am to 4pm. Visitors will get an exclusive look behind the scenes at the production of Zurich brands such as QWSTION, Zuriga and Deux Frères.

From December 1 to 23, the Opera House invites guests to its foyer each day at 5:30pm for a 15-minute mini concert – a musical moment of calm amid the pre-Christmas bustle. Artists from the Philharmonia Zürich, the Orchesterakademie, the International Opernstudio, or the Chorus offer an experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Sauna bathing is trending and is the most soothing way to relax in winter. The LÖYLY saunas combine a unique sauna experience with nature. On December 12 they are opening another location in the popular «Haus am Fluss» by the river Limmat, inviting even more guests to experience physical and mental well-being.

New Year's Eve in Zurich is truly a magical experience. On the last night of the year, locals and visitors come out to celebrate once again.  No one wants to miss the magic of New Year’s Eve with food stands, party zones and fireworks by the lake. The sportive highlight every year is the New Year’s Marathon – the first marathon worldwide. One thing is certain: on this night, no one sleeps.

We're already taking a brief look ahead to 2026 and are looking forward to highlights such as the 40th anniversary of the Museum Haus Konstruktiv.Throughout the year, special stories, exhibitions and events will be staged – as a retrospective and as a bridge to the present. The anniversary exhibition «The Body Within Abstraction» featured various artists to celebrate the 40 years.
