News From Zurich Tourism

As one of the eight host cities of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, Zurich is putting female empowerment at center stage. On the guided tour "Zurich’s Strong Women", visitors and locals alike can discover more about the influential women who shaped Zurich’s history. In celebration of the Women’s EURO, stories of key figures in women’s football are also featured.

At the iconic Hardturmbrache, the Zurich Street Food Festival invites their guests to feast from June 12 to July 6, 2025. New highlights this year include two pop-up restaurants and the breakfast tavolata by Wiedikoji. The festival is the perfect spot for a culinary lunch break or a relaxed evening with friends – come rain or shine.

The hidden garden oasis is back: From June to September, restaurant Berg 8044 once again opens its idyllic garden doors. Whether you’re in the mood for a cozy Tavolata or a delightful à la carte meal – every guest will find the perfect dish here in a relaxed atmosphere. In good weather, the restaurant is open daily from Monday to Sunday, from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
 

Berg 8044

Outdoor dining is now possible at "Marthas Innenhof", Hiltl’s new green oasis in the heart of Zurich. Named after Martha Hiltl Gneupel, Hiltl’s first head chef and pioneer, this à la carte restaurant is open daily and offers a unique menu featuring original recipes from Martha alongside refreshing summer drinks.

Monster Chetwynd creates space for spontaneous, authentic moments with her exhibition and improvisations. Through a unique combination of sculpture, film, and painting, she brings immersive, one-of-a-kind worlds to life. For the first time, all three parts of the film series "Hermitos Children" are being shown together at Kunsthaus Zürich. The exhibition "The Trompe l'oeil Cleavage" will be on view until August 31, 2025.

Warm summer nights and cinematic highlights await in the courtyard of the Swiss National Museum. From June 12 to July 6, 2025, the Courtyard Cinema will present unforgettable films under the open starry sky. Starting daily at 5:00 PM, after-work drinks, food stalls, and cocktails served until midnight invite you to linger in the cozy courtyard.
