Since May 2025, the Museum Haus Konstruktiv is located in the Löwenbräukunst-Areal. |
The museum for constructivist, concrete, and conceptual art presents four to five temporary exhibitions each year. They demonstrate the interfaces that connect the legacy of constructivist-concrete and conceptual art with the international contemporary art scene. Also on permanent display is a treasure from the museum’s own collection – the legendary “Rockefeller Dining Room” by the Swiss artist, Fritz Glarner. (This will not be open to the public again until June 2026 due to the move from its location in the ewz Selnau substation to the Löwenbräukunst site.)
The museum store sells a hand-picked selection of beautiful gifts, postcards, publications, books, and limited editions. In addition, an in-house café invites visitors to linger – whether after visiting the museum or for lunch or afternoon coffee.
