An exclusive experience for all senses, where chef Atsushi Hiraoka prepares Japanese specialties in front of his guests.
At The Dolder Grand, the guests of restaurant MIKURIYA enjoy an Omakase experience on the highest level, awarded with 16 GaultMillau points. This concept (translated, Omakase means “I’ll leave it up to you”) is the Japanese tradition of letting the chef decide. At this restaurant, it’s chef Yusuke Sasaki who takes control of which meals are served. This form of eating is very popular in Japanese culture. With no more than eight persons per evening, the guests enjoy an 18-course menu featuring Japanese delicacies in the most exclusive atmosphere. By request, sommeliers pair selected dishes with sake, shochu or Japanese beer.
