The North America Native Museum in Zurich is dedicated to the cultural diversity of the continent’s Indigenous peoples – from the Arctic to the American Southwest. The permanent exhibition showcases intricately crafted objects, everyday items and contemporary works that offer insight into traditional and present-day Indigenous life.
A highlight is the “Sounding Museum”, where visitors can experience Indigenous cultures through immersive sound. The installation has been recognized by the Swiss UNESCO Commission as an official contribution to the International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures.
