Zug – a Wealth of Possibilities for Meetings and Events
The small town of Zug can be reached by train from Zurich Main Station in just 20 minutes. It is therefore ideal for a quick change of scenery, whether a work outing or a full-day event.

Located in a disused production hall in Zug, the Freiruum temporary concept offers everything under one roof: an event hall for up to 1,700 people, an indoor market hall, various bars, stores, a large bouldering hall, and a sports hall with a trampoline park. In addition, there is a wide range of activities for individuals and groups alike. As a result, a main event and a supporting program can conveniently be held in the same place.
What would a visit to Zug be without sampling some cherry cake?
The famous Zuger Kirschtorte even figures on Switzerland’s official list of foods of culinary heritage. On a guided tour of the confectioner’s, Konditorei Treichler, where the cherry cake originated, you can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the manufacturing process.

Outside the city, there is even more to discover. Active groups who like to feel the wind on their faces are best off renting a “Töffli”. A trip on a moped is certainly one of the most exciting ways of exploring the surrounding area. Fun factor guaranteed!
“Wurzelgrotto” (root grotto), “Zauberschloss” (magic castle) or "Korallenschlucht” (coral gorge) – these are the just some of the names of the various sections of the Höllgrotten caves near Baar, just outside Zug. A guided tour of the dripstone caves is an impressive experience at any time of the year. Escape from everyday life and immerse yourself in a magical underground world.
