The next stage of the trip takes you up to the Jungfraujoch – the highest train station in Europe at 3,454m (11,332ft) above sea level.
Here you can visit the Ice Palace, the “Alpine Sensation” adventure trail, or the souvenir store. The breathtaking views from the Sphinx observation terrace over the Aletsch Glacier are simply stunning. Hungry visitors also have several restaurants to choose from. The trip back down into the valley takes you to Grindelwald, where the coach is waiting for the return to Zurich.
