There is plenty of fun to be had in a snowy Swiss winter, even for those who do not ski or snowboard – for tobogganing is fundamentally something anyone can do.

However, a few rules need to be heeded:

Mutual respect and consideration for others are extremely important when tobogganing. Helmets are also recommended, for accidents can easily happen on icy stretches or in a collision. The general rule is wherever possible to clear the run immediately after a fall and to always adjust the speed to your ability and the conditions.

If everyone heeds these rules, there is nothing to stop you having a great time tobogganing. As soon as enough snow has fallen, the runs listed below offer sledding fun for young and old in and around Zurich.
