Tobogganing on the Flumserberg
Route
The Prodalp toboggan run starts directly in front of the Bergrestaurant Prodalp at 1,576 meters (5,170ft) above sea level. It is located immediately next to the Prodalp gondola facility and can be reached via this aerial cableway or on foot from Tannenheim. Tobogganers cruise 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) through the winter landscape down to Tannenheim at 1,220m (4,000ft) above sea level, always against the magnificent backdrop of the Churfirsten mountain range on the other side of the valley.
Toboggan Hire
Toboggans can be hired from the Intersport store in Tannenheim for CHF 16 and on the Prodalp for CHF 17 (with a CHF 50 deposit).
Catering Facilities Nearby
With so many places to eat and drink, no tobogganer needs to go hungry here: the Bergrestaurant Prodalp and Restaurant Hinnästall are just two options.
Special Remarks
Weather permitting, visitors can also toboggan at night on the illuminated slope on Thursdays and Saturdays between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.
