Zugerberg Bike Trail
Awaiting proficient mountain bikers on the Zugerberg is a flow trail, with challenging alternative routes for more advanced riders.
The 2.1 km (1.3 mile) long bike trail for experienced bikers starts directly at the top station of the Zugerberg. At first, bikers can enjoy a view of Lake Zug – but not for long, for from the very beginning the trail features numerous bends and before long the first jumps appear. Soon the trail crosses a wide road.
Look out for pedestrians and cars here and use the opportunity to take a quick breather. Because soon afterwards, the trail – which is designed to fit into the natural terrain – leads into a spectacular forest section, with berms, wooden bridges, and rollable jumps. Passages with tree roots and stones, as well as drops and wallrides, make bikers’ hearts beat faster. Good biking skills are a prerequisite here.
