Viu Eyewear

In this bright white, minimalist, yet elegantly designed store, spectacle wearers can find the eyewear that is perfectly suited to them. And is an original Zurich creation, too.

As an independent eyewear brand, Viu designs all its models itself. These are then made at a traditional Italian company in the Dolomites and on the Japanese island of Honshu – by hand. In the Viu flagship store on Grüngasse, local customers can try on the entire collection and also order the correct lenses.

Viu brings a fresh impetus to the eyewear market. Its concept: no intermediary traders, own designs, and selling directly to the end customer. And the idea has caught on. Within a short space of time, the Zurich start-up company has developed into a medium-sized enterprise and is expanding across Europe.
