The Zurich jewelry store can look back on a long tradition.
Situated on Bahnhofstrasse
Founded in Zurich in 1881
In-house goldsmith’s workshop
Individual pieces and international jewelry brands
In 1881, the goldsmith Emil Meister founded the tradition-steeped Zurich establishment as a trading company on the Münsterhof. Nowadays, Meister 1881 is managed by the fourth generation of the family. The specialist jeweler’s store is one of the few on the Bahnhofstrasse with its own goldsmith’s workshop. Here, all the jewelry ‒ each piece absolutely unique ‒ is created and crafted by hand.
Meister 1881 also stocks international jewelry brands, such as Aurélie Bidermann, Bibi van der Velden, Christina Soubli, Dinh Van, Le Gramme, and Yannis Sergakis.
The range is complemented by leading Swiss watch brands, including Armin Strom, Franck Muller, Longines, TAG Heuer, and many more. Watch winders, table clocks, and music automata are also on sale here.
Due to the constantly changing Covid 19 measures, it is currently impossible to keep all opening hours on the zuerich.com website up to date. Therefore, please check the website of the respective businesses or institutions before visiting a restaurant, shopping or museum.
We thank you for your understanding and wish you a pleasant stay in Zurich.
