Restaurant Stoller
Many people know the Restaurant Stoller on Albisriederplatz because of its legendary “Frauentraum” ice cream. But that is not the only thing that makes it worth a visit.
Food lovers will find the Restaurant Stoller directly on Albisriederplatz. Now run by the third generation, the restaurant is still renowned for a creation by its founder, Walter Stoller: the “Frauentraum” (Ladies’ Dream) ice cream. Back in 1938, he was one of the first to produce ice cream according to Italian recipes.
Naturally, the Restaurant Stoller serves much more than just ice cream. The menu also features Swiss culinary classics that have been reinterpreted using local and seasonal products.
However, the Stoller is also a popular brunch venue in Zurich. On weekends, the à-la-carte breakfast is supplemented with more lavish menus that are ideal for sharing.
