Today, the Landgasthof Krone is already in the hands of the 13th generation and managed by Thomas Huber and his partner, Monika Jans. The rooms emanate a historical ambiance. And even if the shiny, green tiled stoves are no longer in operation, the courteous service gives guests the feeling of being warmly welcome.

In the restaurant, “Tredecim”, chef Huber focuses entirely on gourmet food. The 13-course “journey of flavors” presents guests with a varied mixture of cuisine, comprising exciting and unusual creations. A treat for both connoisseurs and food lovers who like to try out new things – and of a quality that has been recognized with 17 Gault-Millau points and a Michelin star.

The “Gaststube” in the same building also benefits from the kitchen team's culinary skills. Here guests can enjoy such classics as chateaubriand, sea salt-crusted sea bass, and “Trois Filets”. Wherever possible, the ingredients are sourced from the region. Even the mineral water is bottled in the hotel’s own spring.
