Whether cooking or serving, the staff at this historical restaurant in the west of Zurich are passionate about their work.
An abundance of timber, a tiled stove, stylishly arranged furniture, white tablecloths and discreet decor: when you enter this locale, you immediately feel welcome – not just because of the atmosphere, but also the hospitality. The Krone is a very special restaurant as it belongs to the Stiftung Arbeitskette (Work Chain Foundation), which helps mentally impaired people to (re-) establish themselves in the working world.
The restaurant treats guests to a host of culinary delights. There are various focal points depending on the season – and it goes without saying that the food is freshly prepared with great loving care. Particular specialties are, for example, the “Züri im Pfännli” (strips of veal in a creamy mushroom sauce), of which you can eat as much as you like.
