Au-Höngg River Pool – Swimming at Werd Island

The Au-Höngg river pool at Werd Island is in district Höngg in the northwest of Zurich. The Limmat flows past the island on one side, and the canal, which is good for swimming, is on the other side. In between, you can lie pleasantly in the sun or under one of the many trees.

There is a playground as well as two kids' pools for children and a soccer field. Refreshments are also available. You can cook at one of the many barbecue sites or get various delicacies from a stand (kiosk) as well.
