Dada Locations in Zurich

There are other places and locales in Zurich that were extremely important to the Dadaists besides the Cabaret Voltaire, where the Dada art movement was founded in 1916.

Some of the restaurants, clubs and bars have remained unchanged to this day, and still exude the magic of the Dada myth.

Zunfthaus zur Waag

This establishment has been a tavern since 1385. In July 1916, the 1st Dada Soirée was held here.

It was here that the eighth and final official Zurich Soirée took place – a legendary evening.
