Arena Cinemas Sihlcity

At the Sihlcity leisure center, guests are treated to the most state-of-the-art cinema technology available in Switzerland: of the total of 18 movie theaters, two are equipped with 4DX technology. This allows a motion picture presentation to be augmented with environmental effects such as seat motion, wind, rain, fog, light, soap bubbles, or sound in order to make the viewing experience as a realistic as possible. Two other movie theaters have Onyx Cinema LED display technology, which functions without a projector. This makes the picture more precise and the colors more vibrant. And yet another movie theater features ScreenX, which provides movie-goers with a 270° viewing experience by expanding the scene onto the side walls. The majority of the movies shown here are blockbusters and film premieres.

In the large foyer with kiosk, movie enthusiasts from near and far can stock up on drinks, popcorn, and snacks, while just outside, the Sihlcity shopping mall awaits with numerous stores and gastronomic outlets.
