Zurich’s oldest club is legendary – Josephine Baker and Louis Armstrong performed here, the “Corso” lettering was created by none other than Max Bill, and illustrious names are not uncommon in recent history either.
The Palais Mascotte is conveniently located between Bellevue and Stadelhofen Train Station and boasts a spacious window front with a view of Lake Zurich. Since its reopening in 2026, it has been the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing cocktail in the early evening or attend a cultural happening – and later transforms effortlessly into a lively party location. Concerts or DJ sets start at 10 p.m., often featuring vinyl records. The musical spectrum ranges from Italo disco to disco funk to Chicago house and includes both national and international artists.
What was often referred to as Udo Jürgen’s “living room” – the German singer used to live above the club – is still today one of the main haunts for night owls and partygoers.
