Zurich is the proud host of the 2024 Road World Championships.

September 21 – 29, 2024

In Zurich, fall 2024 will be all about cycling when the city and region of Zurich become the venue of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Road and Para-Cycling Road World Championships. More than 1,000 athletes from all over the world will compete in the two disciplines, individual time trial and road race. For the first time, para-athletes, elite cyclists, and juniors will take part in the same World Championships. Attractive supporting programs with numerous accompanying activities and events are also planned. In the respective fan zones, international fans and local residents alike can enjoy an unforgettable cycling festival. Whether a cycling sport enthusiast or not, this major sporting event is a huge cycle party for everyone.

Sechseläutenplatz

The finish line for all the races is at Sechseläutenplatz, in the heart of Zurich. All races of the para-athletes, the time trial for the juniors, and the men’s team time trial races also start here.
