Heuried Sports Center

At the Sportzentrum Heuried, sports fans can find something to suit no matter what the time of year.

In summer, the sports center is best known as an open-air bathing facility, featuring a large swimming pool (50 x 20 m/164 x 66 ft), a non-swimmer’s pool (20 x 20 m/66 x 66 ft), and a children’s area complete with waterslide.

Moreover, while the indoor ice rink can be used by ice-hockey and ice-skating clubs from the neighborhood all year round, the outdoor rink is open to the public between October and March. Then, ice skaters, ice hockey players, couples, and families can take to the ice and enjoy doing some curves and pirouettes. Incidentally, anyone who does not bring any ice skates with them can hire them on location in almost any size.

Hot and cold food for all sizes of appetites is served at the Vrenelisgärtli restaurant directly next door.
