At the artificial ice rink, just a few minutes’ walk from the impressive Einsiedeln Abbey, skaters of all ages, up-and-coming hockey players, and curling champions can let loose: From mid-November through the end of February, people play, practice, and have fun on five curling lanes and one artificial ice rink. A skate rental shop ensures everyone has the right skates.
When toes and fingers are numb from the cold, hands can be warmed up with delicious cheese fondue or simply some punch or mulled wine in a cozy cabin next to the ice rink.
The ice rink is also used by the ice hockey club and for tournaments. The schedule on the ice park’s website shows when the ice is open to the public. Curling lanes can be reserved there.
The 2026–2027 season runs from November 14, 2026 – February 28, 2027.
