In 2017, the Irsslinger family took over the long-established Weingut Clerc Bamert at the upper end of Lake Zurich with the vision of producing exciting wines that have a story to tell ‒ stories of the fantastic wine-growing region and the fertile soils, but also of the people who accompany the grapes from the vine right through to the bottling.
The vineyard comprises 4 hectares of vines that thrive on two sunny southern slopes. Exquisite white and red grape vines are cultivated with a view of the Obersee lake and the medieval castle in Rapperswil-Jona. Specialties such as Scheurebe, Zweigelt, or Merlot are just waiting to be tasted. During a visit to the winery, guests can sample the fine wines or buy them directly from the farm shop.
