For five generations, the Schwarzenbach family has been cultivating the ten-hectare vineyard near Meilen, on Lake Zurich. They produce straightforward and structured wines that are characterized by their place of origin.
A rarity that is only found in Switzerland is the full-bodied yet smooth Completer Zürirebe. Schwarzenbach Weinbau also presses the grape varieties Räuschling, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling-Sylvaner, and Chardonnay, as well as Pinot Noir and Merlot.
With great attention to detail, craftsmanship, and patience, wonderful wines are produced here that are pure pleasure for the palate. The wines can be purchased directly from the winery.
Wine cellar tours and wine tastings are possible on Saturdays for groups of up to 10 people (prior booking required).
