The tradition-steeped restaurant and one of the top addresses for Japanese cuisine has left the Kreis 5 district after many years and moved to Schützengasse.
With its 16 Gault-Millau points, the Sala of Tokyo in Zurich is a gastronomic institution. The Japanese magic word in sushi restaurants is “omakase”, which means “I’ll leave it up to you”. At the Sala of Tokyo, guests place themselves in the hands of the chef, who serves up his own choice of dishes. Naturally, there are also delicious à la carte specialties to choose from.
Whether omakase or à la carte: at the Sala of Tokyo, guests go on a journey through the various disciplines of Japanese dining and discover specialties from the north to the south of the country. In addition to first-class sushi, the menu features tempura, grilled crustaceans, and Nobu-style cod, gratinated with white miso – always prepared with great loving care and according to the rules of Japanese cuisine.
