Restaurant Spitz

At the Spitz restaurant directly next to Zurich’s often hectic Main Train Station, guests can find an oasis of tranquility and coziness.

The Spitz restaurant – which takes its name from the nearby Platzspitz park – is a feel-good oasis situated between the Swiss National Museum and Zurich’s often hectic Main Train Station.

In the high ceilinged, bright rooms of the Swiss National Museum, guests can find a restaurant complete with bistro, bar, and spacious terrace with plenty of greenery, which invites people to stop and linger. The menu features slow food dishes, which are created using regional produce according to the season. Thanks to its wide selection of cheeses from each of the Swiss regions, the Spitz particularly stands out as a brunch locale.

However, the Spitz is not only a great place to eat; the bar offers beer types from all over Switzerland, as well as a broad choice of whiskeys comprising over 250 different kinds. Rounding off the selection on offer is an innovative cocktail list.
