The history of the Sprüngli House began in 1859 on what is now Paradeplatz. Following its Jugendstil renovation, completed in 1910, it became a true landmark of the city of Zurich. The café went on to become a popular meeting place for locals, tourists, and celebrities from all over the world. 

Today, the Sprüngli House is still an important part of Bahnhofstrasse and Paradeplatz. The renovation in 2024 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the distinguished history of this unique building.
