Seleger Moor Park
Seleger Moor is one of the most important upland moors in the canton of Zurich.
Continually expanded by Robert Seleger in 1953, nowadays the park attracts more than 40,000 visitors every year. In spring, hundreds of thousands of blossoming rhododendrons and azaleas in all colors under the sun can be admired over an area of 120,000 square meters (143,500 square yards). Water lilies are a treat for the eye right through until August, while in fall, the light and vibrantly colored foliage enshroud the park in a romantic ambiance.
In addition to numerous winding trails, a wheelchair-accessible footpath leads through the enchanting nature. Benches, a BBQ site, and a small park restaurant invite visitors to stop and linger awhile. In addition, gardening enthusiasts can purchase a little piece of paradise to take home with them by the park entrance.
The park is also a popular venue for various art and cultural events.
