The multi-faceted Pizol ski area lies directly above the spa resort of Bad Ragaz. It lures visitors with its 50 kilometers of slopes, as well as its magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Off the slopes, there is a varied choice of toboggan runs, snowshoe trails, and winter hiking paths. For early birds, the ski area offers Sunrise Skiing on selected days, giving skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to enjoy the freshly groomed and still pristine slopes in the early-morning sunlight. Awaiting the freestyle community at the Riderpark Pizol is a varied snow park with different levels of difficulty.
