Loorenkopf Trail – from the Fällanden Ravine to Zurich Zoo

This spectacular hike takes walkers through a stunning natural landscape from peaceful Fällanden to the top of the Zürichberg.

The route begins at Fällanden parish hall and leads through the Jörentobel ravine, where hundreds of Ice Age boulders form the geographically fascinating landscape.

After a short climb, the path arrives at the Loorenkopf observation tower, which rewards walkers with a panoramic view of the city and the Alps. The route ends at Zurich Zoo – and the neighboring Sorell Hotel Zürichberg, which is the perfect place for a meal or an overnight stay.
