Illuminarium – Artistic Winter World
In winter, the inner courtyard of the National Museum is transformed into a winter wonderland of light, illumination, illusion, music, and culinary delights.

The Illuminarium transports visitors of all ages into an enchanting world that appeals to all the senses. In the front and freely accessible area of the inner courtyard, a bar, a fondue chalet, and various food stands offer a variety of culinary delights.
In the other part of the Illuminarium, for which a fee is payable, visitors can watch two elaborately staged light shows. Mysterious mythical creatures play the leading role in the “Yuki Show”, while the Art Festival features projected images by various international artists. This show is aimed primarily at adults. Both light shows each last 25 minutes.
