Theater Hora

Anyone who has had the opportunity to see and experience the Theater Hora knows that Hora is one of a kind! For all members of the theater ensemble are mentally disabled. But if you think that the Theater Hora is a social integration project, you would be wrong: through their disabilities, the professional actors make the plays they perform a new and unforgettable experience by broadening the theatrical spectrum and resetting the boundaries of acting. This gives rise to a form of theater that recognizes a disability as an asset.

Hora is the only professional theater in Switzerland whose ensemble members all have a certified learning disability. Unfortunately, it does not have its own premises. As a result, it often performs its plays at the Rote Fabrik on Lake Zurich or in the Casinosaal Aussersihl in the vibrant Kreis 4 district.
