Subtle shades coupled with an abundance of wood and leather lend the Konrad a cozy ambiance; here, even Hans Konrad Escher von der Linth – for whom the bar is named – makes a toast with his Martini in the lounge (at least, in the picture on the wall).

And otherwise, too, a pleasant feel-good atmosphere prevails here. During the day the bar tables and chairs invite visitors to stop for a quick coffee, while in the evenings they are perfectly suited for tête-à-têtes amidst subdued lighting. A small but select drinks list featuring local beer, choice wines, and of course various cocktails make the bar in this central location well worth a visit.
