The Central 1 café bar in the Central Plaza Hotel is popular with hotel guests, businesspeople, and locals alike. The bar is very centrally located next to its namesake, the Central tram hub, just one minute’s walk from Zurich Main Train Station.

Besides a large selection of cocktails and drinks, the café bar serves a variety of snacks, soups, and salads from midday to evening, but guests can order steak tartare, carpaccio, or traditional Zürcher Geschnetzeltes here, too.

In the evenings, different pianists every month provide gentle background music, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere in the bar.
