Café Züri Bar

In the morning, Café Züri Bar serves, for example, americano, cappuccino, and pastries, and starting in the afternoon, wine, classic cocktails, and appetizer platters featuring salsiz, raw ham, cheese, and pickled vegetables.

Historically, the venue was originally a bakery – as evidenced by the metal grating in front of the entrance. In the postwar era, it was converted into a bar, at a time when drinking was primarily associated with men – a fact still evident today in the larger restroom designated for men.

The bar, located in the heart of Zurich’s Old Town, is a place for everyone and has long since achieved cult status – a piece of Zurich as uncomplicated as its guests.
