For many Zurich residents, the Rundfunk.fm festival has long been a summer highlight: the radio station went on air for the first time in 2000. Since then, this insider tip has become a highly popular cultural event, broadcasting live from the courtyard of the National Museum for several weeks every year. 

Situated close to Zurich Main Station, numerous national and international DJs provide great music while, surrounded by the castle-like National Museum with its modern extension building, visitors enjoy a wide range of culinary delights, cool drinks, and a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Locals and tourists alike meet here from 5pm onwards to bring the summer day to a leisurely close.
