Prime Tower

The Prime Tower is fast joining the Grossmünster church in the ranks of Zurich landmarks.

Completed in 2011, the Prime Tower office building tops out at 126 meters. From its location in the heart of Zurich-West, this impressive building looks over the former industrial quarter.

The form and color of the 36-story building capture attention. Two rectangles melt into another, with the contours of the building changing significantly depending on the perspective. Slender, broad, abstract, restrained – the tower looks different from each side. The Prime Tower is surrounded by a green-shaded glass facade that is visible from afar. Depending on the viewpoint and the weather, the building seems to positively glow at times. From the Waid hill at sunset, for instance. The facade takes on new life from a closer vantage point: adjustable windows lend the building additional vitality and variety. In the imposing entrance hall, green Aosta serpentine walls 33 feet high set the tone.

Visitors are particularly drawn to the bar and Clouds restaurant on the 35th floor. Here you will be greeted by a superlative view of Zurich-West and the roofs of the city.

The Prime Tower is part of a district offering shops, bars, studios and other new buildings.
