Situated on a peninsula on Lake Zurich, the stately house that was once home to a silk factory has been converted into a comfortable youth hostel, featuring single, double, and multi-bed rooms. Guests can also use the training and conference room with its picturesque terrace at any time.

The location of the youth hostel is ideal for sports vacations or excursions into the surrounding area. Extensive hikes in the Glarus and Appenzell Alps or leisurely walks on the tiny islands of Ufenau, Lützelau, and Schönenwirt can also be undertaken from here.
