Sledding on Uetliberg

As soon as the first snow covers Zurich´s roofs, everyone gets their sleds out of the cellar and takes the train to Uetliberg. Groomed and maintained by the city of Zurich, the toboggan run offers fun for people of every age. Groups, friends, and families dash down Uetliberg on 3.1 kilometers, covering 330 meters in altitude. Even though the run is quite flat at the beginning, it soon gets steeper, and sledders whizz through snow-covered forests and landscapes. Night sledding is especially fun and thrilling: Equipped with headlamps or torches, the adventure begins right next to the Uetliberg stop of the SZU railway and ends at Triemli. 

Sled rental is available to groups and individuals.
