Wildnisweg Sihlwald

This hike leads through a large, primeval mixed beech forest.

After an initial steep ascent, which takes around an hour, you reach the Albishorn, offering a spectacular view of the entire Lake Zurich and the mountains in the distance. The trail now enters the core zone of the Sihlwald Park. The route takes you past the Albisweiher, a pond where in spring the grass frogs croak loudly, primeval forest structures and woodpeckers drumming on the trees before finally reaching the bottom of the Sihltal valley.
