Rigi in Winter

Perfect winter days on one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountains: it is not without reason that the Rigi is known as the “Queen of the Mountains”.

The snow is glistening, the air is fresh and cold, the sun radiates a certain warmth. You take a deep breath – and then off you go. Whether with energetic swings on skis or snowboard, at high speed on a toboggan, or at a leisurely pace on a snowshoe trek or winter hike: on the Rigi, everyone can find a suitable winter activity.

Of course, you can also simply travel up to the heights on one of the mountain railways or cableways, and enjoy the breathtaking panorama and invigorating air at the summit. And when your stomach starts to rumble, there are sufficient ways of satisfying it – such as with the typical Swiss cheese specialty, fondue.
