Cross-Country Skiing in Stoos
Ski Area
Stoos lies at 1,300 meters (4,265ft) above sea level and is car-free, which is why it can only be accessed by funicular railway or cable car. The trip is well worth the effort, though, for from here visitors can enjoy a spectacular panorama of the surrounding mountains. The cross-country trails are groomed for both the classic and the skate style of skiing.
