Lovers of exquisite cuisine will find the Weisses Rössli restaurant between the city center, Lake Zurich, and the Sihlcity shopping mall. Having recently undergone gentle renovation, the former neighborhood locale shines out in new splendor, yet at the same time is still cozy and welcoming.
Here, chef Mathieu Bacon (14 Gault Millau points) conjures up light dishes with a French-Mediterranean touch, which, according to the restaurant’s website, are frill-free but instead use seasonal produce of the highest quality. Guests can indulge in these culinary delicacies either in the cozy restaurant or, in summer, on the secluded garden terrace.
The cuisine is complemented by fine wines from Italy and Switzerland. Self-baked bread, homemade butter, and attentive service staff also go towards making a visit here a truly memorable one.
