Walliser Keller, The Swiss Restaurant

The Walliser Keller treats its guests to original cheese fondue in all kinds of variations, as well as other specialities from Switzerland.

Creamy cheese fondue, tangy raclette, Valais dried meat – or perhaps you would prefer a succulent piece of Swiss meat on a hot soapstone griddle? At the Walliser Keller, guests are spoilt for choice.

At lunchtime and in the evening, the restaurant conjures up a little piece of the Swiss mountains in the heart of Zurich. The rustic vaulted cellar is reminiscent of a typical wine cellar in the vineyards of Canton Valais and the aromas emanating from the kitchen immediately put guests in a vacation mood.

Here cheese fondue is also served in a vegan version. It can be ordererd for visitors who are gluten or lactose intolerant and on request, without alcohol.

The speciality of the house is however the juicy, slightly hot “Tinu's Güggeli im Chörbli”, prepared according to a secret recipe.

In fine weather, visitors can also make themselves comfortable on the cozy terrace directly next to the pedestrian zone.
